Helping Hands, Healing Hearts Counseling Services

.....Providing a helping hand for living a better life.

Hello and Welcome! I’m Amy F. Emery.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my commitment to helping individuals navigate their unique journeys has always been at the heart of my work. In 2014, I founded Helping Hands, Healing Hearts Counseling Services, LLC, driven by my passion for assisting with positive change in people’s lives.

Today, I offer individual psychotherapy via telehealth, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own home. I’m licensed to provide services in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and I work exclusively with clients aged 18 and older.

Whatever challenges you may be facing—be it personal growth, navigating difficult emotions, or simply the need for a compassionate listener—I’m here to support you on your journey. As a trauma-informed, LGBTQ-affirming therapist and Certified Daring Way Facilitator, I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs, enabling us to engage in meaningful dialogue and develop practical tools to enhance your emotional well-being. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, seeking self-acceptance, or aiming to build resilience, my goal is to offer you the support you need.

Together, we’ll work towards embracing your true self, fostering meaningful connections, and navigating life’s challenges with strength and self-compassion. You can expect a collaborative environment that values your voice, offers strategies for resilience, and focuses on your experiences and goals. Together, we will create a path toward your emotional wellness.
